Apartment Reviews for Camden Fountain Palms
Worst apartment complex I've ever lived in

We moved here from out of state. We got here on moving day, moving truck and all, only to find out they forgot we were moving in and the apartment wasn't ready. We had no option but to move in anyway.
Slowly, things were taken care of...3 months later! We still have uneven, dirty blinds in the kitchen and living room. Carpet stains everywhere, even though they shampooed.
The walls are paper thin! At first we thought, "oh a courtyard, how cute." When you arrange apartments to where they all face each other in a giant square, you can hear everything and it echos. There's no privacy. Every window is either facing the parking lot or courtyard where people are constantly walking around.
We have the loudest most obnoxious neighbors who stay up outside past curfew (10pm). I've made several complaints to no avail. The grounds are always littered and covered in dog poop. Even the grass in the pool areas have dog poop. I dread coming home after work because instead of relaxing, I get to listen to screaming kids while sitting in my living room. I can hear conversations from the people above me!
Maintenance is horrible. They take forever to respond to a service request and when they do, they never fix the problem. They are also way understaffed.
When we first moved in there was a wasp nest. We had wasps in our apartment the first couple days until they finally got rid of the nest.
The square footage for the price is the only good thing...
They make you pay (part of your lease) for cable service and valet trash, which is a joke. You pay $40 a month for someone to come up to your door and take your trash to the dumpster, when you can walk 10 feet and do it yourself.
Have to pay extra for a covered space and a garage. Minimal parking. Sometimes I have to walk a ways to get to my car.
Fountains are always broken.
This place is more work than it's worth.
