Privacy is it needed? I lived at Antante for 13 months, I had my privacy violated twice by managment and property damaged in the process. When you sign paperwork that says not to enter without notice you should be able to expect just that right, NOT HERE. My Husbands car was broken into along with five other cars in the same night. If you value your privact or your belongings DO NOT MOVE HERE nothing of yours will be respected by anyone expecially by management or maintenence.
BUGS can you live with them? Before we moved in here I read some of these reviews about the BUG ISSUES at Andante I thought it was just that some people had bad experences with something so I was skeptical, Yah not for long. The first month we found 20-50 cockaroaches in our apartment. Everytime you walk out side at night trying to get your mail they are everywhere out side on the grounds. NO wearing sandals UNLESS YOU LIKE BUGS. We got out apartment sprayed about every TWO WEEKS to try to prevent bugs. Do you like Scorpions? When you are watching some TV in the bedroom getting ready for bed and you see a scorpion on the wall it makes you a little freaked out, when this happens weekly you get so nervous that as you enter a room you scan every wall at least TWICE looking for bugs. After the first scorpion my husband went to the office to let them know, the schuduled the pest control to come out, the guy said there was nothing he could do. At least I don't have kids or we would have been out of there faster. When we did our walk out inspection the maintenence supervisor asked my husband, "Is that a scorpion?" One was just in the closet less that four feet from where our bed would have been.
Do you value your sleep? Our upstairs neighbors made so much noise that you could tell exactly what they were doing and which room they were doing it in. I would call the office the would stay quiet for about three days then it would start up again. We talked to the office maybe 10 times in a year and they did nothing. If you like hearing loud radios and motorcycles coming in and out all night long live here, it happens daily.
Gated Community a Plus? You pay to live in a gated community so you can feel safer right, NOT HERE. If you can get in to the community yourself that is a plus most of the time the gate closest to my apartment did not work. The management would say this is being fixed and to just use another gate, which ment going around the entire complex to get the very back. We lost power in the complex often enough that the gates would just be open for hours at a time, this never made me feel safe to live in a gated community. About a week after we gave our notice to management that we were moving out they erased our codes and deactived our keyfabs to get on to the property, we were lucky to get in after hours to were we payed to be living.
OVERALL Andante Apartments
I WOULD NEVER PAY TO LIVE HERE AGAIN. EVEN IF IT WAS FREE NEVER AGAIN.
