Review Title:   Scorpions And Crickets, Otherwise Ok
Reviewer:   Anonymous
Review Date:   8/3/2006

I lived here for a year and 7 months into the lease I couldn't take the scorpions in my apartment anymore. The management had sprayed (which doesn't work by the way) and fogged my apartment (which worked for a month) to get rid of them. But I kept seeing them high on the wall (making me think they were coming from the roof or attic since I was on the top floor) about 1-2 times per month. I even got stung by one that was in my washing machine. It went through the wash cycle and survived and stung me when I went to grab the clothes to put them in the dryer, that was not fun. Ever since I have looked inside the washing mashing before I reach in to get the clothes. The only good thing about the whole ordeal was that management was willing to let me out of my lease (with 30days notice) or would transfer me to a different unit with no costs. They were understanding and willing to work with me, that is after I talked to Eric, the manager. Everyone else just told me to get the apartment sprayed again. I decided to transfer since the only thing wrong with the apartment was the scorpions, and the fact that is was getting hotter outside. Everything else was nice, although the internet was kinda slow, but other than that it was good. So I transfered to a different apartment and didn't see one scorpion for the remainder of the lease. But I did have crickets all the time. But after dealing with scropions, crickets were nothing, just annoying. So unless you are a Entomologist, I wouldn't live here. Which is too bad because it had really nice facilities, but too many bugs.
