Review for The Hawthorne Apartments

This is a beautiful property. Well kept up - a resort type atmosphere - it has 2 pools, spas, exercise room, clubhouse - the whole nine yards.

The apartments are beautiful. Very nice floor plans. All updated appliances, etc, etc, etc.

The security is great - driving around the property and there are security systems in each apartment also.

Maintenance is great. Very efficient. Very knowledgable. Very Good.

This is a condo conversion and I would urge you to ONLY RENT. It's a GREAT RENTAL. This is NOT a property to BUY. I lay in bed at night and can hear the bed above me bouncing around as the couple there gets it on at 2:30 AM each morning. He leaves for work at 3AM -shines his headlights in my bedroom window as he pulls away while she vacuums the floor above me. When I take a bath - it is embarassing to hear the person in the tub next to me (in the neighboring apartment) as if we were sitting there together. The walls are like a sheet of paper: expected in a rental- very disturbing if you just bought and didn't realize this beforehand.

The person next door to me has a child up above that runs across the floor overhead continually - which I guess may be worse than waking at 2:30 every morning when I don't have to get up til 5AM.

Again: This is a beautiful property. Looks like a resort! Well-kept and maintenance is great. My understanding - once all condo converstions are sold - this maintenance, etc won't matter a hill of beans. Maintenance and grounds upkeep will have to come out of the monthly HOA fees. . . Which are bound to go up after the management company (along with their own grounds and maintenance employees) sells all units and leaves.

I will now never buy a conversion now because of the above. You can't know what you can and will hear until you stay first.
