Review for Oakwood At Paradise Lakes Apartments

After less than three months living here, my roomate had her car broken into twice. I recently had a man break into my apartment and try to rape me. The troubling thing is Security was informed there was a "peeping tom" outside my apartment (my neighbors called 911) and security never notified me. But of course if I was loud (walls are paper thin) security was there in a second. Also, I found out from the police that the girl living in our apartment before us had reported having her panties stolen from outside w/d. Police got fingerprints and filed a report but do you think we were informed before moving in ...NO. Oh and they couldn't seem to fix the lock that was supposed to keep w/d unit safe. That's reasuring!

These apartments are soo old the tile in my bathroom was falling off and I couldn't take a shower for 3 days while they repaired it. The ceiling had mold on it. Other neighbors had water leaks. I see great characters like prostitutes and druggies all the time. The fitness center is JUNK. NOT ONE single bbq works there. NOT ONE. If you move here....buy a gun!
