Apartment Review for The Palms Apartments

Rude staff. Parking lot floods repeatedly and The Palms is quite aware that their drains are backed up and have not fixed them. This last time causing severe damage to 15+ autos, some a total loss. The complex did nothing to minimize the damage, they left the autos submerged in above the knee deep water for at least 8 hrs. Not even attempting to notify the owners or to have the cars towed out. To top it off they will not take responsibility. They have sent letters to the tenants saying they are not liable and you will have to contact your own insurance company to fix or replace your auto. So if you do not have full insurance coverage, you pay for any and all damage on your own. (unless of course you like to have your auto filled to the seats in dirty water, then resulting in a car full of mold with no resale value.) Apparently by the reviews and from information from other tenants this has been going on for years, as far back as 2007, so do not expect it to be fixed.
