I would recommend this place to my family and friends any day. I feel like I live in paradise not an apartment. The staff is wonderful and they treat my family and I like we are part of there family not like some resident and just taking our money. When something needs to be done in our apartment the maintenance is on top of it and we never have to wait. The
property is beautiful and clean all the time. I never here any noise or any of the neighbors and we live on the first floor. I wish I could give them ten stars instead of five. So If you are looking for a place to call home this is the one. The Regents At Scottsdale, Come by and check it out you won't be disappointed.

I lived at regents for a year. Basically the only thing i have to complain about is the price. We paid 1123 a month for an apartment that we could have rented somewhere else for 750, believe me we checked up on this. Right across the street is a bigger apt., just as nice for 700. Its not really worth the price. I felt very safe there however, and it was overall a very comfortable place to live.

I have lived at The Regents for 3.5 years. My rent has only increased slightly each time I renew my lease. However, just before the property sold, my renewal price jumped. Now that new owners are anticipating changes and upgrades, I have been told that it will most likely increase again. I am dissappointed in the outlook of the management company. Somehow they feel that it is justifiable to charge me higher rent because they are upgrading...but, clearly if I extend my lease they won't be upgrading anything in my unit until I move. I have asked to be given pricing so that I can find another place to move to if my rent increses too much. I was told that I would be notified about 30 days before my lease expired. 30 DAYS TO FIGURE OUT WHERE TO MOVE TO AFTER LIVING HERE FOR 3.5 YEARS!!!! Clearly the person who made that decision has NEVER moved before. To say the least, I am not happy about the new management. I expect to be treated better than that.

Moving to California, otherwise would be staying. As others have mentioned, parking is tight, but garages are available and that suited me just fine. Despite comments here to the contrary, Joanna and John on the management team are always friendly and helpful. If circumstances required me to move back to Scottsdale, I'd head for The Regent's in a heartbeat.

I feel the need to defend Regents at Scottsdale after the review I just read. First off, EVERY apartment in the desert, ESPECIALLY near canals or open desert has a pest problem. It's part of living in Arizona. I have lived enough places to know this. 2nd of all $135 for a utility bill for a two bedroom is phenominal. We have been paying about that much for our 700 square foot one bedroom in another community. During the time I lived at Regents I never had a problem with management, in fact the manager was always very courteous to us and went out of her way to help us. The only reason we moved from this complex was because we wanted to move off the third floor and they did not have an acceptible unit elsewhere when our lease was up. After living two different places since then, we are probably going to be calling Regents home again next month because quite honestly, it is the best community for the money in Scottsdale.

I really think you get what you give. If you are nice and courteous, and not confrontational, you will probably get that in return.

WE LIVED AT THE REGENTS FOR ONE YEAR AND LOVED IT. OUR DOWNSTAIRS NEIGHBORS WERE SNOOTY AND COMPLAINED ABOUT OUR NOISE-THOUGH WE ARE NOT NOISY. BUT, OTHER THAN THAT YOU CANNOT BEAT THE LOCATION AND AMMENITIES OF THIS COMPLEX. GET AN APARTMENT WITH A GARAGE AND FORGET ABOUT THE PARKING NIGHTMARE. THE STAFF IS HELPFUL AND IT'S A HUGE COMPLEX SO YOU DON'T ALWAYS FEEL LIKE YOU'RE BEING WATCHED. IT'S IN A BEAUTIFUL AREA AND WAS VERY AFFORDABLE FOR THE NEIGHBORHOOD IT'S IN. WE'D GO BACK IN A HEARTBEAT, BUT WE MOVED ACROSS THE COUNTRY.

The Regents has some NICE views of McDowell Ranch mountains if you can get a 2nd or 3rd story unit on the north edge of the complex.
Otherwise, it's a bit crowded and parking is an all-out nuisance.
