Scottsdale / Monticeto Cove ( over a year ago )

Nice place when I first moved in earlier this year. Very quiet, well kept. New owners took over and while the area is still quiet, the rest has gone downhill. Sprinklers ran in front of the clubhouse for 3 days before someone bothered to turn them off. The lawns are well maintained except for the far back corners of the property. The office was moved to an apartment, which makes parking difficult for the residents that live there. The buildings are being painted, which will improve the look. Hopefully it will improve the office staff as well. They are abrupt, bordering on rude.

I have lived in this apartment for over a year. A couple months ago a new owner took over, there have been good and bad changes since then. The place has just been painted, and that is nice, but I have personally not had a good experiance with the new owner herself. Being accused of stealing is not something that I want to hear from someone who just took over. I really didn't appreciate it. I did like the atmosphere, most people are ver considerate, not the most friendly, I don't think I know anyone else who lives there, but there is not much to copmplain about. If somethign is broken it gets fixed relatively quickly, the hot water doesn't last long in the colder months. It probably isn't the best out there, but I am sure it isn't the worst either. It was good. Parking is not the best either, but they offer to let you rent extra spaces. I really liked that. The carpet sucks because it is so light colored that stains seemed to just appear out of nowhere.
