Four parks are within miles of Garden Grove Apartments, perfect for nature lovers and family outings. Watch the L.A. Angels train at Tempe Diablo Stadium right off I-10. Indulge in the many restaurants and coffee joints along W. University Drive like Cartel Coffee Lab, Essence Bakery, or Dunkin Donuts. One reviewer enjoyed the rental experience, but was forced to dispute move out charges with management. Another felt the on-site laundry facility was below average. Though the rent is fair, residents did not renew their leases due to insect problems and inattentive management.Orangearrow Read all reviews...

*****
This complex has a big mix of residents...everyone from small families to students...and I like the diversity. This is a big community with a lot of resources from the views and sights and sounds to the grounds and pool. Overall it is quiet and clearly people feel safe coming and going at most hours. I like that I can have my dog and the dog owners all seem pretty conscious about being good neighbors. I like the waterfall sounds and the views of the lake. I am used to the sounds of apartment complexes being pool filters grinding away and loud music! Lakefront at West Bay is unique, not like other Tempe complexes.Orangearrow Read all reviews...

The management of these apartments does things right! The pool and spa facilities are kept in great shape and the apartment is large enough for me to entertain out of town guests easily (everyone loves AZ!). The layout closes out traffic noises and the grounds are well kept. These apartments are more up to date than others I looked at around ASU. Well worth your consideration!Orangearrow Read all reviews...
Greenwood Village Photo
4505 S. Hardy
Tempe, AZ 85282
Bedrooms: 1 - 2
Baths: 1 - 2.5
$694
AR Score: 86
*****
Monarch at Tempe, formerly Greenwood Village Apartments, is situated right off Route 60 on S. Hardy Drive, which offers multiple bus stops. Arizona Mills is a short drive and includes a movie theater, several restaurants, and more than enough outlets and stores to choose from. ITT Tech and the U.S. Air Force ROTC are just across I-10. Many reviewers love the area, but would like upgraded units, citing cheap kitchen cabinets, tiny washers and dryers, and zero cable hook-ups in the second bedroom. However, security gates function properly and on a set schedule, covered parking is assigned for residents, and maintenance responds to requests within a few days. Residents appreciate the neighborly staff and pet friendly environment. Orangearrow Read all reviews...

Finding a bus stop is no problem with all the stops close to the complex. Residents can go down the road and shop at places like Dollar Tree and Walmart. The Benedict Sports Complex and Celaya Park are some of the local attractions nearby. Reviewers like the work ethic of both the management and maintenance crews. However, some say the appliances need updating and the noise levels could be better controlled. Orangearrow Read all reviews...

The biggest benefit here is proximity to ASU. It is easy to get around by bus so the parking isn't an issue for me. I probably feel pretty safe because much of the time I am walking I have my dog, and she is allowed here, which is a big advantage over other complexes. My neighbors are friendly. The closets are larger than my last place and the storage helps. I have not had any of the problems mentioned in some reviews and management is responsive to my inquiries.Orangearrow Read all reviews...
