i lived at mission springs for 6 months and here are just some of the problems we encountered. the water was constantly shut off, over 30 times in less than 6 months. managment claimed it was due to water main breaks. there was also no hot water on more than 30 occasions, managment claims it was a broken boiler. we went a whole weekend with no hot water once, it was disgusting and i contacted the health department over it. many many burglaries! my apt as well as a few of my other neighbors were robbed, we asked managment to send out flyers about a theif on the loose. they said they would but never did. the maintenance man assaulted someone right in front of my apartment, i witnessed it first hand, but managment later denied the incident ever happened. we had an infestation of bugs! the "exterminator" (if you can call her that) sprayed our house 3 times and they still came back. the bathroom is a breeding ground for mold due to poor circulation and lighting. the lighting is so bad that our apartment was pitch black even in the morning. neighbors are very very loud and out in the pools even until 4am. maintenance personnell is incompetent. it would take them days to show up after we called for a maintenance issue. when they did come, they would end up breaking something else in the process or not fixing it correctly resulting in multiple visits. the managment are the worst i have ever encountered. they dont listen to tenants concerns or do their job. (oh, except when they are trying to get a new tenant to lease at misson springs.) people are constantly parking in other people's reserved lots! it was a nightmare living at this complex. if you have any standards at all, do not rent from mission springs and stay away from bernard allison properties all together!
