I have lived here for only 4 months so far. They initially charge people for all sorts of stupid things that they don't tell you until it's time to sign the lease. things like extra rent to live in a courtyard area, even though you have no choice because they decide the apartment where you are going to live. But, my favorite is the "renewal fee". Firstly they charge an apartment renewal fee of $200 at move in. "this is the fee to make the apartment new again" they tell you. So basically you are paying to clean up after the last person to live there. I asked them isn't that why we pay rent so you can repair and maintain the apartments. they said no. so anyway the first day i moved in the bathroom was dirty (mainly the toilet) and there was dirt and ciggarette butts in my kitchen sink. Just like new right. And no they didn't compensate me in any way. Also the garbage disposal was completely broken, just like new. This place is so dirty. Around the second month sewage started to gurgle up through my kitchen sink filling it up until, yes, it overflowed. The smell was wonderful, they should make a quadrangles perfume. The pipes break about twice a month so they shut off all hot water for about two days each month. the staff doesn't care at all, just a bunch of self involved biotches that couldn't care less about the crap the residents put up with. just recently my car was broken into and about $500 worth of stereo equipment was taken. I'm sure this won't be the last time this happens. If you want to sleep or even think, then its tuff shit for you. Just about 24/7 stereos are blasting and vibrating the walls around you. even at 5 a.m. you can hear people walking in the apartments above you because the walls are thin as paper and the floors creek and as if they were going to collapse, and i wouldn't be suprised if they did. People party all the time everyday and they have no regard for anyone else. People will jump into your porch and piss on your stuff. Now if you like partying then come visit for a party but no one wants constant party noise all the time. And for some reason they feel the need to scream as loud as they can, because it's cool and makes everyone want to hang out with them becasue loud people rule. all apliances are from the 70's and they don't work for shit. stove, refrig, light fixtures are all broken in some way. so, F**K THIS PLACE AND ALL THOSE WHO RUN IT.
