This place is the worst place I have ever lived.
We have lived here for 9 months now and I am shocked that it still exsists. If I were the city of Tempe I would have condemed it a long time ago.
There is a big cockroach problem that no one has even attempted to take care of. There is a huge crack under the door and the kitchen wall leading out side where the rain seeps through flooding the kitchen and living room. It destroyed the wood frame on the bottom of my new couches. It took them 4 days to finally send out the carpet cleaners by which time there was mold growing. (At the time my baby was 2 weeks old and had an immuture airway with breathing problems) On more than one occasion the pools have been as green as the grass. There are no firer extingwishers in the cases, There was a two month period when we had no hot water for more than eight hours out of the day with out notification. They didn't turn the air conditioning on until June 3rd, or the heat on until the end of october. We have had to call the police on the the employees,mexicans, no offence, who are drunk and drinking in the parking lot. (I even had a mantainance guy steal from me.) The Heat was turned off on Christmas Eve and off for the following 5 days after. Talked to a woman who had lived here last Christmas and they had the same problem the year before (hum coinsidence? or trying to save $) The woman two doors down was robbed and it took them 8 days to fix her broken window and come to clean the blood from the robber off the carpet. It takes them literally weeks to send mantainace out no matter how big or small the problem. The plumming is bad, stoped up toilets, leaking at the bottom of the wall in the 2nd bedroom and the celing bulges were water has leaked. There was a soda machine that someone busted up and was left sitting with wires exposed for more than two months, still plugged in. The laundry facillities are nasty and so dirty you wouldn't want to set you basket down. This place is ran by slum lords We are considering with all the evidence (pictures, and notes) on suing them. In hopes that they will make the own come live her for 9 months, and be reimbursed for at least part of the rent to live in this hell hole. I am making a patition as we speak. If you are concidering living here dont the crime rate alone should scare you. This (coming from two seperate police officers) has the hightest crime and call rate in the city of tempe. The also have section 8 housing I can not believe our tax dollars pay for people to live in slum holes like this.
