Apartment Review for Finisterra Apartments

We've been here for about 6 months. We rented sight unseen, so we were pretty shocked when we found out that we were so close to Guadalupe. Thank God, we haven't had any unfortunate incidents and our experience here has been pretty pleasant. <P>
Make sure to buy an anti-theft device called an "Auto Lock". It's about $80, but it's worth every penny, as there are a lot of car thefts in this area. The auto lock locks your break up making it impossible to put your car into drive and therefore you cannot drive (or steal) the car. <P>
The fitness area is pretty much a joke and the hallway stinks like doo doo. The pool also seemed pretty dirty. As for the "business center", that computer is so old and slow, I couldn't stand it and the printer never works. <P>
Neighbors are pretty unfriendly and keep to themselves, but overall, besides someone bumping the music in their car, it's pretty peaceful and quiet. <P>
Our apartment was spotless when we moved in and the maintenance was slow at first, but then they really came around once we got to know them. However both gates are constantly broken and the so called "security guard" must be invisible because I haven't seen one here since about 4 months ago. <P>
It's alright... not the best, not the worst. Hope this helps... <P>
