Apartment Review for Foxtree

I lived at Shadetree, run by the foxtree people, and just across the street. I lived there a pretty long time (3.5 years), but wouldn't recommend it. I would have moved earlier, but the rent was so cheap and it's in a good location. Both me and my roomates had our cars broken into and almost every day we would see cars with their windows smashed and their stereos gone. Our apartment was robbed while I was in it (hiding in my closet on the phone to 911). One time, some guy in a windowless van literally tried to lure me and my roomate into his van and we had to lock ourselves in my car to get away from him. Later, we found out he actually lived in the complex and he knew all about us because he stole my roomate's wallet! Anyway, moving on......none of our maintanince requests were taken care of on the first call, including things of a serious nature, like fixing our lock and door after the robbery. Toward the end, we started having roaches come up the drains in the bathroom, but that was only a problem the last few monthes. We had termites in one of the bedrooms, but that got taken care of. For some reason, the one time the office made contact with us voluntarily, it was to try to fine us for underage drinking even though we're plenty old enough and it said so in our lease. I don't know. The crime was the worst part, but none of it was so great, except the price. <P>
