Apartment Review for Mission Springs

This place looks great when you pull in the dead goldfish are floating in the GREEN water out front of the office... Not sure exactly what attracted us to this place but everything that I thought was good about it, isn't.
*Car broken into twice in 10 months
*3 pools?? 3 times the unregulated noise and BUMS WASHING THEMSELVES in them. You may say oh that was when staff went home. NO the maintenance guy rode past on his golf cart and said hows it going to a BUM with a TRASH BAG FULL OF CANS and went on with his lazy day.
*Kids casing the apartments at night looking for unlocked doors and windows. Physically caught them red-handed, told the office, they said sorry, get off my lawn kids..???
*WATER PROBLEMS LITERALLY 25 times in 10 months the water has been off completely or hot water/cold water is out. "We are working on it"
*BEWARE OF THE HIDDEN FEES!!! Do NOT believe the decent price the quote you at your tour!! Tack on around $200 for utilities that are more price flexible than gas and that are BARELY legal for inhabitance.
*Spring and Fall BEWARE: Their heating/cooling system is based on a chiller system meaning during the summer/fall only air, during winter/spring only heat. While it may be unlimited, god forbid the summer or winter starts early. YOU WILL SWEAT/FREEZE until they decide you may have air/heat. Don't bother calling!!! THEY DON'T CARE! THE OFFICE HAS A THERMOSTAT!!!!
*Expect fines for just about everything if you actually pay your rent. NOT ONE TIME LATE ON RENT in 10 months, and I get slapped with a $250 fine for a TINY grill on porch which I EXPRESSLY asked about BEFORE I used it. The fine was NON-NEGOTIABLE in order to ensure "fair housing"! I wish I were kidding. And NOT a SINGLE notice before this fine. Got a note on door saying "Violation of Lease, pay $250 or be out in 10 days!
*Maintenance people are LAZY, RUDE, STUPID, and SCARCE! If you place a service call, expect several days to go by without the broken air,toilet,dryer, etc. They will NOT be there until they deem appropriate, which is days away. DON'T DARE STOP MAINTENANCE DUDE on his golf cart!! You will get a rude, "Call the office" and gravel spit at you as he speeds away to no doubt hand out fines.

BOTTOM LINE: PLEASE, PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! THIS PLACE IS A JOKE!! IF YOU TRULY WOULD LIKE TO MOVE HERE, PLEASE CALL ME. I WOULD DO ANYTHING TO SIGN YOU UP TO REPLACE ME!!!
