Sundown Village Apartments is located less than a mile from two shopping centers that include Walmart, Safeway, Kohl’s, and more. Reviewers in early 2012 enjoyed the number of outdoor opportunities like Catalina State Park, Saguaro National Park, and smaller parks afforded, citing close-by bike trails and hiking trails as a perk of the location. However, past tenants had problems with an unresponsive management and unruly neighbors. Transportation can also be tricky; one reviewer struggled for three years to get a closer parking space. The closest bus stop is about three miles down North Oracle Road.

Fox Point is situated on North Campbell Avenue, right beside the University of Arizona Medical Center. This makes Fox Point a great rental option for employees of the medical center. There is a good amount of green space in the area, as well--tenants need only stroll down the road to reach Rio Vista Park. There are a number of reviews that would like to see Fox Point management make upgrades to the property, including some of the appliances. But, a possible shift in management could be just what Fox Point needs to turn the corner.
