Georgetown Apartments in north central Tucson is about 10 minutes from University of Arizona or about 12 miles from Pima Community College. Near the East Grant Road Walmart and many other kinds of shopping, Georgetown Apartments has been generally reviewed well by tenants in the last few years. One reviewer, having been a resident for five years, praised the complex and the neighbors but cited a high turnover rate in staff as a problem. Another tenant particularly liked the safe neighborhood and said it was a great place for kids to play.Orangearrow Read all reviews...

Arcadia Park Apartments are close to two public parks and several universities, such as Pima Community College and Tuscon College. University High School and Rincon High School are also down the street. Many appreciate the affordable rent and relatively quiet neighborhood. Residents appreciate the choice of covered or uncovered parking, but one reported vehicle break-ins occurring over the course of his lease term. During Summer 2012, tenants complained of multiple water shut offs without prior notice or without adequate information. Some are dissatisfied with the laundry facilities, like inconsistent machines and lack of hot water. Orangearrow Read all reviews...

I know the fitness center is supposed to be a draw for these apartments, but with LA Fitness right here, well, let's just say there are choices. Lots of southwest apartments have the same line up of things to do, but the racquetball courts are not typical apartment fare. The apartment sizes are wide-ranging and I think next time I would choose a two-bath unit because I have a roommate. The community is made up of all kinds of residents and I have met some fun people from all over. Tucson Mall is close by and Rillito Park shouldn't be missed. The staff is friendly and helpful.Orangearrow Read all reviews...

Residents here are a broad mix ~ some University of Arizona graduate students and some small families. Handicap accessible units are available and that isn't true in very many places. What makes a difference to me? The staff is great to work with, although I noticed some reviews mentioned problems, those reviews were written well before my time. These apartments are a good rental value, especially because I feel as confident if I have a problem it WILL be addressed.Orangearrow Read all reviews...

4045 North Oracle Road
Tucson, AZ 85705
Bedrooms: Studio - 2
Baths: 1 - 2
$440
AR Score: 81
The high point of the area where Oracle Palms is the historic district ~ there is always something great going on. Tucson Mall isn't far and Target and Michaels are right here...two of my favorite stores! When I looked into Oracle Palms I found a batch of bad reviews from a number of years ago, and it must have been before remodeling was completed. The on-site staff is ready and able to help with anything that comes up. The rates are reasonable with a little premium charged for covered parking, but not much considering places that don't charge for covered parking have higher rents.Orangearrow Read all reviews...

Tanque Verde Apartments is not far from Morris K. Udall Regional Park and is close to plenty of shopping, restaurants and entertainment. Up until January of 2013 residents reviewed the water service as inconsistent with maintenance being done without notice and abrupt loss of water. Since then things have improved with the plumbing, but it is hard to tell if difficulties tenants were having with fireworks and other noise disturbances has been resolved. Since 2012 some exterior and grounds renovations are complete but residents suggest the hot tub still has an issue that results in noise. Overall about half the tenant reviews say they will continue to lease here.Orangearrow Read all reviews...

Located at Swan and East Sunrise in the Catalina Foothills section of Tucson, Quail Ridge is in a beautiful location. Resident reports vary widely, with some stating that the complex is beautiful and quiet and others ranging into chronic maintenance issues. Happy residents advise seeing the actual unit you will rent and keeping paperwork and rental agreements to confirm all agreements are honored. Tenant reviews suggest an update to the 1976 construction to retain leasers and resolve some chronic maintenance issues that have been only temporarily patched.Orangearrow Read all reviews...

Bedrooms: Studio - 2

Sierra Vista Apartments boast heating, sewer, gas, AC and parking are included in the rental rates in this "newly remodeled" apartment community. Minutes away from the Tucson Mall and not far from the University of Arizona, Sierra Vista Apartments residents have good proximity to shopping and other community features but generally have not praised the management and maintenance of this apartment complex. In 2012 only one reviewer was pleased by Sierra Vista Apartments, glad for the pools and the enforcement of rules that keep things running well for the whole apartment community. Other reviews mention not getting the apartment they viewed, noise complaints, safety and theft complaints and difficulty with the utilities seems chronic.Orangearrow Read all reviews...

Information About Tucson Apartments

There are many very old cities in the United States, and one of the great things about our nation is that when we see something that's falling apart or not working correctly, we try to fix it. The city of Tucson is one that was having a difficult time, mainly due to the way that the city looked. When the 21st century rolled around, the powers that be decided that they need to revitalize the downtown area of the city. This has actually been a great thing for the city, because it brought more businesses, and more tourists, in, providing more jobs and making the area more stable than it was. That may be one reason why so many people are now searching for a Tucson apartment.

The biggest mistake that people who are just moving into the city make is to simply snag whatever apartment fits their budget at the time. They believe that if they wait too long, they won't be able to find anything. While timing is definitely important, especially if you want to find the perfect Tucson apt listing, it's also important to get what you want. Many of the people who jump on the first halfway decent apartment that they see wind up hating the apartment and wanting to move, which can make things tricky. Instead of snagging the first apartment that you see, it's a good idea to learn a little bit about the city first.

The city of Tucson has neighborhoods, just like any large metropolitan area, and this means that you need to learn about the different areas of the city before you even start your Tucson apartment search. There are areas of the city that have parks, and areas of the city that are more industrial, which is why it's vital that you learn about all of the neighborhoods, and what they're best known for, before you even begin your Tucson apartment search.

Once you've learned about the sections of the city, then you can work on finding what will best suit your needs. Do you want a loft, or would a small apartment suit you better? Is a condo more your style, or do you want to rent a house? The more you know about what you really want, the better equipped you will be to be able to find something that truly suits your needs.

It's important to remember that the central area of the city is actually extremely bicycle friendly, which is ideal for students who are looking for Tucson apartments for rent and for those who want to keep their carbon footprint low. If you want to use your bicycle, it is best if you look for Tucson apartments for rent that are in the heart of the city, and not those that are on the outskirts. There are many apartments in Tucson available for rent, and they change on a daily basis, so make sure that you keep your eye out if you're looking for that perfect place to live. Check back with the apartment listings often as situations can change rapidly.
