Worst Apartment Complex Ever

As the last reviewer said, this place is just awful. The newer manager is even worse than the last. She is NEVER in her office. I think she works two complexes. She's only in for a couple of hours a day a few days a week at best, and is often gone on trips with 1) no replacement and 2) no notice and 3) no way to contact anyone in charge.
She is rude, talks down to you, treats you like a commodity rather than a customer (or god forbid a person!).

While the handy man there was great, he was only a handy man expected to do all repairs. As last reviewer said, many things in the apartment were held together by impromptu materials. I have never seen a professional hired. Not when my roof leaked. Not when my toilets broke, or the dishwasher. When I told them my fridge was leaking, they failed to fix it, then charged me for "the mess" even after I'd asked her the manager, if I needed to clean behind the fridge (she said no). Then she charged us.

They have a creepy old guy that lives there who they call "security"... but really he does it for free so he has a an excuse to walk around and peep at people in the pool at night and talk to girls walking their dogs. Total creep and the management just puts up with it b/c he does his "job" for free. Didn't stop my car from getting broken into TWICE though...

If you like EVERYTHING in your apartment to be hospital white, you'll love this place, as they will paint over everything from wall to appliance to counter to fixture with cheap white paint, and then when it absorbs the color of anything that it touches (like canisters on the counters) you'll get charged for ruining that perfect blanket of winter white.

My parking spot was on the opposite side of the apartment complex, for unknown reasons, and you only get one spot no matter how many people are in the unit. There are a total of about six visitor spaces for the entire hundred or two hundred something unit complex.

The apartment sits on the corner of a busy intersection... not their fault, but do be aware that it is very loud in many of the units (like mine). Worse, they do nothing about unruly neighbors. My next-door neighbor was a male prostitute who would throw loud wild parties and leave his door open with Abba or some crap pumping bass. One person died of an overdose there, and another was carried out on a stretcher by EMTs. Old men came to our doorsteps every night, and people high on meth and trying to find drugs were not uncommon. I AM NOT MAKING THIS UP. He never got evicted, god knows why. The rumor was that his brother owned the complex, I don't know if it's true or not. All I know is that the management failed to do anything to protect us. And when this guy began harassing my fiancée and knocking our door messed up at 3 in the morning... still they did nothing. Eventually I had to call the police on my own.

So yeah, this place is awful and the management is condescending and rude. And worst of all, the rents have gone up every months so that the place is, as the last reviewer said, WAY above “market value” (their favorite term). Well, I beg to differ. Stay away!
