Review for Sunquest Apartments

At the end of May 2008, my boyfriend and I moved into Sunquest apartments. We wanted to save up some money and just needed something small and it seemed right for us at the time, little did I know that living here would be the WORST experience of my life!! The women who maintain the office are rude and very arrogant and have NO customer service skills whatsoever. And the lack of effort management puts forth is sickening. The atmosphere- I haven't seen so many sketchy people in my life. They do not screen who they move in. For example, I had a man move in next to me who's place constantly smelled like pot and people would banging on his door at all hours of the night.
Maintenance- The first of many problems to come. I had a few tiles bust out in my shower, no big deal so i called the office to get it fixed. Four days after my call somebody shows up with no phone call before hand at 8 in the morning. Fix it and leave. Than, about two weeks later I noticed a funky smell. My unit cooler had been leaking inside its place in the wall and had caused molding! Not only did it cause mold but it dripped onto my TV and caused water damage to my $900 dresser. Again it was days before somebody showed up and I had to call a number of times. next, the same tiles that popped out in the bathroom broke again, this happened a series of 5 of 6 times. They keep braking and the same man who has no clue what he's doing fixes them, instead of replacing the whole shower! My fridge shut down and the new one they brought me opens to the wrong side and finally, like it couldn't be worse, i was sent an eviction notice when my rent had been paid three days early (I had my receipt) because they lost my check! I brought in the receipt, they cleared it and called back a week later asking for my bank records!! I was astonished! The manager herself told me she would settle for a cashiers check and wave my fee! A fee i was charged for their incompitence. I was NOT given a credit for the six dollar cashiers check and nobody told me they were sorry!! RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! I would never recommend Sunquest to anybody. They are so desperate for residents that anybody is approved! They will fuck you over just as I was and your apartment will fall apart with you in it! I forgot to add this to my review, they wouldn't send a professional to check out the mold in my place! And said that before i asked that they wouldn't reemberse me for my furniture that was ruined.
