This is a great place overall. I actually agree with the negative review before this one where the person said that being loud and having loud, poorly raised children is frowned upon. IT IS. This is an upscale complex and noise, trashiness and otherwise low class behavior is not tolerated. And thank goodness for that. I hope the person who wrote that review moved out.
The office staff is AWESOME and will help you with any problem you have. I have dealt with many mediocre to bad management staff at apartments but I didn't realize just how bad they are until I moved to Huntington and experienced what actually intelligent, businesslike apartment staff are like. If you are the owner of this complex and are reading this, give them all a raise.
The only bad part about Huntington Square is the surrounding area. If you move in here (and you should) please DEMAND that you get a unit that faces the INTERIOR of the complex. Do not take no for an answer. If you cannot get one of these, tell them you will have to look somewhere else.
If you get a unit that faces the exterior of the complex, you are picking from
-A unit facing Sylvan Road, which is usually full of traffic and loud
-A unit facing the white trash houses off Chivalry Way, with barking dogs, loud parties, loud people and home mechanics working on their junky cars and testing their engines without mufflers
-A unit facing Wal-Mart
If you look at an overhead map there are not a lot of units facing the exterior of the complex but make sure you are getting one facing in. This is not the fault of Huntington Square, they can't tell anyone that doesn't live on their grounds what to do.
Once you get your interior facing apartment, enjoy!
