Review for Archstone Escondido Apartments

These apartments are very nice, gorgeous really. That said, there is no two-bedroom apartment in Escondido worth $1450 a month. $1150 and I'd say this place was about perfect. This was really magnified by the fact that the place right next door, literally, while not as nice was only $1075 a month for a two-bedroom. Parkings good but not great. Managment is really nice and maintainance is very good. My only gripes would be location and price. The apartments are sandwhiched between two freeway accesses, a home depot, a target shopping center, and an elementary school so... while the apartments themselves are nice and quiet, the area is rediculously loud and non-residential for such an expensive resedential complex. Ended up moving to the archstone oceanside complex for the same cost and the area is 1000X better! I actually feel like I'm not getting ripped off at $1450 now.
