I've never met a bigger bunch of incompetant morons. There is no excuse for how hopeless the staff is at The Aventine. The apartment itself was ok--big, pretty part of OC. If you have a problem (like you need to change your name or a tenant) you're doomed. We signed a lease for a unit with a fridge that mysteriously wasn't available upon move in. They "didn't remember" us giving them a deposit when we went to sign another lease--because any apartment will let you move in with no deposit! We had seals that leaked and needed to be replaced along the windows and they couldn't "prove" that they were faulty. Smoke was literally pouring in from our neighbors smoking and the management just didn't care. Naturally when we moved, they charged us $200 for it. They also were convinced the carpet cleaner that showed up on blacklight was proof of urine because apparently I pee all over the floor. The office admits they have no answers and will not call you back. They can't handle any situation and it's all a big joke to them. Live ANYWHERE but here. It's not worth the headache.
