Nice apartments, awful office person ( over a year ago )

Living here for over 2 years I have loved almost everything about it. The sales people are very nice and very helpful, same with the very good maintenance staff. I could not say enough how great they are. Particularly Nancy and Steven. One woman in the front office of the building is extremely rude at ALL times. You have to deal with her to get your packages and she always has an attitude problem. One time, maybe, twice, ok maybe she doesn't like me, but every single time? Well talking to others they have the same issue with her, she is just not a people person and seems very unhappy. You do not treat residents like they are a huge burden and do not treat them like you are superior to them. When you need to make a fax and they are doing work inside the building (painting). Do not ask her to do it, she'll give you attitude and tell you to go to kinkos. And very well do not call the office to ask if the fax machine is working, she will tell you she doesn't know. Seriously, she can't walk 20 feet? It must be more work to try to get out of doing work... Well this woman is such a problem we are moving. Not being able to make copies, send faxes, and get our packages without having to be around her is a big problem. If she's gone I give the place 5 stars.

After renting for a year and taking care of the rental, vacuming and cleaning as usual; these rip offs charged me 3 thousand dollars to put in new carpets and paint. Apt 3508 FYI. And this is after I paid top dolar for this rental! It didn't need new carpets at all. I was even told they were going to clean it anyway. They are liars and rip offs and cheats and now i can't even buy my dughter a birthday gift and my credit will probably be runined.

We moved in here almost 3 yrs ago. The apartment was in pristine condition, the Office staff were very accomodating to our needs. In the time we have been here, I have never had to wait for maintenance, they always come with 24 hours of my request. Any complaints I have, are dealt with in a very timely manner. I find the Office staff to be very pleasant, always calls me by name. The maintenance staff are very nice, and helpful and always have a smile and a Hi for you. My husband and I love it here. It is quiet, well maintained and am proud to have people come and visit my home. <P>

When I moved in, my apartment was very clean. Maintenance has never been an issue for me. My requests have always been done within a day or two. The parking here is better than any other community I'v lived at. They actually do not request parking tags-"Open Parking" your guests do not have to park on the street-Yaeh. The Office staff always seems pleasant and I am always asked how I am doing. I though have to agree w/ the comments about Terri the book keeper-she can be rude, but the good news is she is no longer there. And yes, the manager was never in the office who has also left The Aventine. So hopefully things will be better in the office. I'v never had a problem w/ my neighbors-everything seems pretty quiet where I am at least. I would for sure recomend a friend. Sorry that some people had a bad experience at The Aventine, thats too bad. <P>

I definitely wouldn't recommend this apartment complex. We live by the pool-HUGE MISTAKE! It is so loud, not only on weekends, but on the weekdays too! The pool closes at 11 pm, but the security guard doesn't come by until about 11:30 to kick eveyone out of the pool/spa. They don't lock the gates, so people still keep coming and going to the pool all night. You get about a 3 hour break of silence, and then people are back down there in the spa at 6:30 am. They leave, and the maintenance people are back down there at about 7:00 am (on weekends) scraping the chaise lounges across the pool deck, because they are strewn everywhere and they are trying to straighten up. <P>
We have had alot of maintenance requests on our apartment, I do have to say they are done in a timely manner, however it seems like the same things keeps breaking over and over. <P>
The office staff is pretty rude, and they never remember who you are. They always have these pool luau's, breakfasts, pizza parties, etc... to try and lure you to renew. Glad to see where our rent $$$ is going! <P>
Overall, this place isn't the best. If you like peace and quiet, don't live by the pool! <P>
