Apartment Review for The Cascades

When I went on the tour I was visually impressed..nice landscaping, apts. are nice. ok amenities. Then I moved in. On the night before my furniture arrived I was in the apt. cleaning and heard thuds, bangs, running, stomping from the apt. above. I mentioned this to the Mgt. office but they said maybe it seemed loud because my apt. was empty and the noise was echoing. OK I said...then I got all my furniture in, started to settle in and ALL **** BROKE LOOSE!! There were 9 people living above me in a 1000 sq.ft. apartment. (But it was ok with the leasing office as 4 of them would only be there for the legal limit of 3 months!!!!) After the 4 left - -the 5 that were legally allowed to live in the apt. continued to BANG, SLAM, STOMP, RUN, BOUNCE BALLS, GARAGE DOOR OPENing CLOSing constantly etc etc. which made my "quality of living" intolerable!! Although the office was "sympethic" - - they took my complaints - even came to my apt. to hear for themselves...it took 8 months for them to relocate the 5 people to a downstairs unit. There was peace for 2 months while the apt. above was empty - - - THEN ALL **** BROKE LOOSE AGAIN -- The Management put in a family of 3 with 2 small children!!! Put me right back into the same situation!! SEEMS THEY JUST DIDN"T CARE!!! when I went to the office - YUP they didn't care!!! The place is ALWAYS noisy - garbage cans are picked up at 7am everyday weekends no exception, loud cars. SEcurity???What security?? Parking - - WHAT parking??? Good points - - - good place if you have pets & there are not too many kids. <P>
