I recently moved out. I was warned prior to moving in.. but wanted to make my own judgement. As someone else stated here in their rating, prior to signing the papers you are greeted by a nice smiley face and the feeling of i really want to live here. I too was shown a nice model..and the day of my move in..as i walked in the front door i was shocked as to what i saw.. i promptly pointed out the apt had not been recently painted..as you could tell the walls were spot painted..as the new and old paint didn't match. There was blisters all over the vanity top..the oven was never cleaned..still food in it..and the little patio yard i had was full of 5' weeds..for which i ended up spending a whole day pulling out. Once we signed the papers we were on our own. In a years time.. i NEVER once got a return call back from the office.. every time i would call and ask WHY no one answered my voice mail i left.. i always got the response of "I don't know"..they claimed at the time they had video cameras around the wash areas...and they didn't..they were dummys..NOW they have cameras as i told them after having my clothes and other tentants lost their clothes to someone stealing them out of the dryers.. that they had better have real cameras there as they had posted or i was going to sue them for my loss as they practiced and posted false postings of security.. 2 days later... the cameras were up. My backyard was also flooded many times..for which they had to come in and dig 4' deep trenches to fix the pipes..we all went numerous days without being able to take showers as constantly the water was being shut off.. with NO prior warning! That really po'd us off...least give people some kind of warning! Their machines you use to put money on your wash cards are faulty..if the washer and dryers can't read the bar code on the cards.. and you just so happened to use cash to put on that wash card.. you are OUT that money..they told us 3 times they had to turn it over to their corp office and guess what???? We NEVER heard a word back from anyone! Their customer service tatics SUCK! I would never recommend to anyone to live here..( even if they do have what another prior rater put here.. that they have HOT chicks in the office?...PLEASE!!! ) I can't believe someone actually listed that here) Must have been a kid!! If we hadn't signed a lease we would have been out of there that same week we moved in. OOO.. and as far as getting ANY of of deposit bac.. forget it! They NEVER responded to us on that either.. I made 4 calls and 1 to the corp office and i even stopped by the office to inquire about our deposit...5 weeks later.. still NOTHING... legally they ONLY have 21 days..NOT 21 business business days as i was told..to dispurse any deposit..or even a itimized statement.. i'm still waiting on that..and now.. by law.. i am intitled to a FULL deposit that we so deserve. We were very good renters.. NEVER once late on rent... most of the time our rent was paid anywhere from a week to 2 weeks EARLY..Would i recommend this complex? NO!!! I should have listened to my daughter who is also a manager at a very much nice complex! Now all she says is "mom i warned ya"... that's how i found out about this rating site..and you can bet.. i am doing my rating!
