Casa Madrid, does look asthetically pleasing on the outside, however don't be fooled by that when assessing whether or not this is a place that will fit your needs. First off, let me start off with the good aspects, as I feel its important to give some type of positive acknowlegement, and to be as objective as I can be on the matter. The maintence people are extremly friendly. Rafael(head custodian) is very friendly, and efficinet at what he dos. He is more professional than anyone else on the property. Other good aspects associated with Casa Madrid include the lush grounds, that are very captivating when first approaching the complex. However, with many positive aspects in anything one deals with in life, come negative ones that conteract the good. The staff at Casa Madrid are some of the most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with in life. They are not interested in effective customer service. Reason being was my wife had her car towed ILLEGALLY from her spot. We eneded PAYING $216.00 to get the car back, not to mention the fact it took 24 miles rountrip to get to the place(Mr. C's Towing). The staff was mildly apologetic at first, and said they would get us our money. I completely knew where this was going, and drew up a professional legal document stating what had transpired, and I signed it and dated it, I then took it to the office, and had the manager sign it as well. They are still beating around the bush after a week, and claiming to have never spoke with corporate on the issue. They guaranteed me that by Friday I would have an answer, so I went in on Saturday, and its still the same thing. I asked to speak to Emma(current manager), and one of the girls who works there said, "let me go get here". Two minutes later, the same girl returned conveying to me that , "we still don't have an answer". Excuse me, but as a manager, you are going to have to deal with complaints, and problems DIRECTLY! You can't delegate that to someone else. As a school psychologist for one of the wealthiest communities in the world(Newport Coast) I am constantly having to act like a professional, even when I don't really want to. I expect the same level of professionalism where I work. In conclusion, Casa Madrid does have some aspects that might be perfect for your situation. My wife and I are using this time to save for a house down in Orange County(1 more year to go!!!) and if you are single, and you can afford a garage(extra $100.00 a month) then you should be o.k. However, more than one person(about 95% of the people) and more than one car(again, 95% of the people) avoid this like the plague. Yes, its convience to the freeway is nice, but Beware this is nota home to call home. You have been warned.
