Review for Chateau D'oro Apartments

The most effective way to accomplish communication is through email (chateaudoro @ yahoo . com). The unit was infested with cockroaches and the complaint was ignored until an email was sent. Same with water leaks, faulty ovens, and numerous other maintenance requests. The view is pretty, but not worth it. The elevator is terrifying and the permit has been expired for 2 months. Residents and maintenance will smoke in the hallways, maintenance shop, and elevator. The dryers do not work on 2 out of the 3 floors, there is no hot water in the mornings and into the early afternoon. The "garbage shoots" fit something no larger than a Safeway bag. The fountain in the entryway smells horrible most of the time; residents throw their junk mail all over the place. TAKE PICTURES and note EVERYTHING on your move in inspection report.
