The location is perfect for us, which is mostly why we didn't move after our first year completed.
The apartment complex does maintenance to ensure that more poorly informed individuals rent new units rather than to make the living experience better for those who currently live there. They painted the exterior of the building for three weeks (because the workers were hired on to several jobs at the same time which kept them from completing ours) which forced us to keep everything from our balconies inside our apartments for the duration. They have painted the carports on three seperate occasions in the two years that we've lived in the apartment, forcing us to park elsewhere--and yet, we return after work to find that the carports were not infact painted.
Communication with Waterview staff is also lacking. They post notes on your door with less than 24 hour notice--such as "we will be painting for the next week, keep things indoors" "you will need to move your car." They additionally send out water bill requests within days of your check being due (some months on the day before). It is your responsibility as a tenant to religiously check your mailbox leading up to the month's end.
Once we arrive our apartment, we are pleased with the nice breeze, and friendly neighbors. That, and the distance to our work are the only highlights.
