While this apartment complex might be a good choice for single residents, I would not recomment this for residents with kids. First of all, the management is not friendly to kids and does not tolerate them. Kids are not allowed to ride bikes or rollerblade on sidewalks (even the sidewalks outside the complex, if seen by the management, they'll be forced to ride their bike on Washington St), run inside the apartment complex, be in the clubhouse, climb trees or walk on the grass. Basically, they can't play outside. So if you have children and don't want them to be sitting in front of the TV the whole day, then don't move here because there will be nothing for them to do. The facilities are not that great either. The sprinklers are constantly broken spray water and dirt on your freshly washed car. The gardeners are also very inconsiderate to cars, they constantly get them dirty. The pool and jacuzzi all have chipped tiles and once we found a dead frog floating in the jacuzzi. Also, the power often goes out. Living in the gated community might seem appealing to you, however, the gates are often broken and the low fences are very easy to climb so it does not necessarily make this community more safe. We lived in this apartment for the past 5 years not by choice but due to financial reasons, so I am so happy that we are finally moving somewhere else soon.
