Oh where oh where to begin, on what a craphole this apt is! The apt is an absolute war zone between certain groups of tenants, on one side you have professionals and older people who will call the police if they hear the floor squeak. On the other side you have college kids that don't know the meaning of the word "considerate." I mean really, screaming at the top of your lungs, "whoo hoo!!" at 3am, is not that enjoyable for those of us who must wake up at a normal hour to get to work.
The apt is advertized as a "secure environment" although most of the outside locks are broken and almost everyone I know has either had their car stolen or broken into. The "built-in" washer and dryer needs a paycard to run and the cash card machine was stolen long ago. So to put money on the card, you must go to the apt office (yes during working hours) to put more money on the card and get your laundry done by a machine with the shortest wash cycle I have ever seen.
For all of this "joy" the apt staff is extremely rude and ignores tenant complaints. When I was in the apt office complaining about the many SUVs that like to park in the alleyways so you can't move your parked car, and there were no less than ten other tenants complaining about everything from noise violations to their neighbor beating the crap out of their wife and kids out in the parking lot.
In short this apt is good only if you really love the TV show, "cops" and have always dreamed of seeing the action up close. But for everyone who wants a decent place to call home, keep on moving!
