Review for Avalon At Media Center Apartments

Pretty much everything bad that anyone else has said about this apartment is true. On the surface the apartment seems to be a nice place, but don't let that fool you, this place is slowly becoming a total slum, The managers deserve to be fired, and the company fined. The place is filthy, people leave bags of trash & dogshit at their front doors (I am not kidding, this is what comes from the 'Pet Friendly' policy), this causes serious, fly, ant and health problems. (Time to call the health department perhaps?) The walls are paper thin, I don't know think that the neighbors are intentionally noisy, but with the walls as thin as they are you hear everything, and I do mean everything. The laundry room is so dirty and gross I would rather take my close to a public laundry, the paint is peeling off the walls, dirt is literally caked on the walls, and the machines are always broken. There is a swimming pool, but it is generally dirty (I actually saw a condom floating in it once). And they charge you for everything they can think of, and raise you rent as often as possible. This wouldn't be terrible if the money was being used to actually upgrade or even keep up the apartment, but it is not. I cannot recommend this apartment to anyone, and I will be moving out as soon as my lease is expired.
