Apartment Reviews for Northpark Apartments - Burlingame

I've lived here for 8 months. The staff has been very friendly, helpful, and responsive. (I heard bad things about the previous management, but that doesn't matter now since they're gone.)

People shouldn't write negative reviews for a complex because they have a neighbor that they don't like or that is too noisy. There's only so much that management can do about that unless they're throwing wild parties or breaking the terms of the lease. If you're looking for an apartment, I think that you should focus on more important issues.

There is some noise if you're facing the freeway, the train, or are right by the staircase. You have to take that into account. The trains run periodically but it's not that loud for me, and they don't run late at night. Of course, I'm not there most weekdays to hear anything.

I've been very impressed with the office staff knowing me by name, being friendly, and being responsive. The grounds are well maintained. The pools are nice. (There were pool problems in past years, but that seems to be fixed now.)

The heaters in the units are old (like the original ones) and don't shut off like they should, but the rest of the appliances are more modern and work well. They installed a new washer and dryer in each unit, and it's very convenient having them in the unit.

They also put in a package delivery notification system that sends you an email when a package arrives for you at the office.

Just realize that most people who get ****** about something are a lot more likely to take the time to write a (negative) review. People who are generally satisfied aren't typically going to take the time to write and post a review. So, you'll always see more negative comments and less positive ones, but check it out for yourself. I did a lot of looking around and didn't find any place close to Burlingame or Millbrae that was as good as this.
