40 + units and a handful of us worked ligitimate jobs. The rest of the scumbags had jobs pushing drugs throughout the complex- or wondering when their next fix would arrive. It's a one-way in, one-way out- so if you are driving into the complex and someone was coming out you had to make a quick decision. Every month when the mailman brought the welfare checks it was like dropping a bag of food in the midsts of the starving. Besides getting an $800 SMUD bill one month- because the 2 families on both sides of me tapped into my wall for energy- or the guy at the bottom of the staircase who told me: "To Wait" while his buddy was breaking into someones car- and all I wanted to do was to walk to the dumpster to empty my trash- this is the ONE complex you DON'T WANT TO LIVE IN. After watching several other families move out- and while these folks were gone- in between homes- the other tenants at this dump ransacked the apartment of the people while they were gone moving. So on the day I moved out I MADE SURE to get everything with me in one run because I know for a fact that my apartment would be broken into while I was in transistion to my next set-up. This was the WORST apartment complex I have ever lived at- period. If you're into drugs, prostitution or don;t have a job and need some new friends- then by all means- this is the place for you.
