Review for Teresina At Lomas Verdes Apartments

When my wife and I first moved into our apartment, everything seemed great. Little did we know of what would come... It all started when a need for maintenance arose. The smoke detectors needed to be fixed and we reported this to the office at around 4 pm. "Oh, the maintenance guys are off around 5pm, I don't think it can be fixed today.." So we had to sleep with the smoke detectors going off before we were able to fix them ourselves. A few days later, maintenance stopped by.. Great service!!

Then the ants came.. We had ants in the kitchen cupboards, bedrooms, bathrooms, and the DISHWASHER! According to the pest control guy, the ants are inside the walls of the building and other units even had ants in their fridge..

Then someone stole our cable. We weren't allowed to call the cable company, the office had to do so. My wife went to the office daily and demanded them to finally make an appointment. Finally, the cable guy came. "Hm, someone is stealing your cable." Wow! Just what we had been saying for days!! Finally, I took matters into my own hands and went to Best Buy and bought 50' of Coax Cable and ran the cable outside the bedroom window and then down to the cable box outside. This was not pretty, but it worked. After two more appointments, a whole gang of incompetent contractors guys showed up, drilled a hole through the bedroom wall (corner unit) and used (chopped) OUR personal coax cable to somehow fix the problem. To make matters worse, the front office would not even reimburse us for the cable. There's that award winning staff at its best again. We used to take care of many small problems ourselves as it just took too long waiting for help from maintenance. We saw some of the maintenance guys working almost around the clock, so maybe they should hire more staff!

Speaking of staff, the office staff is just a bunch of rude and incompetent jerks! The guy working there (Mark) always talked down to my wife and managed to screw up anything and everything! And don't get me started on the new females in the office. If you are able to get them away from their cell phones or doing their nails, consider yourself lucky.. After the change of management, everything just went even more downhill. Neighbors blocking our garage, smoking pot in theirs (great in a family community, isn't it!), car alarms going off 24/7, parents sending their kids to play away from their building (must be nice and quiet for the parents!), swimming pool turning into a public bath house, etc. Teresina could be just the place you are looking for if you want to be miserable and pissed off...
