I moved in to my apartment in Sept 2007, when I got there the apartment was filthy. The sink had dirt/mud marks all over, the counter top was dirty, there was urine in the toilet, the floors weren't recently vaccuumed, the patio had leaves and twigs all over. The girl from the office got there to do a walk-through and even she was amazed at how dirty it was. I told them I wasn't moving in until they clean it up. So they did, of course. Once moved in: fridge don't work, it either freezes my eggs, or makes my milk go bad, no in between temp. They still haven't fixed or replaced that, it's now January. Dryer wasn't working, had to request them to fix. Faucet is so short you can't get your hands underneath without making it splash all over, had to request that to get changed, it took about 3mos for them to do so. Security always responds to calls but it seems like they don't review their own tenants thoroughly enough here, cops are here way too often. I had to call security twice so far. Once because I heard a woman scream out for help in the middle of the night, apparantly, so did 2 other neighbors, security said I was the 3rd person to call it in. The apartment is small, this was a surprise, didn't realize how much space I really need! The worse part about this place though has got to be the maintenance. It's not worth it, you're just paying way too much here.
