My apartment was lovely after locating this complex via Rent.com; lol, don't forget to obtain your $100 voucher.
Anyway, rendering a cliffnote version to something that definitely deserves to be characterized in full detail; how often do you find a one bedroom apartment with a walk-in closet as well as a fireplace, central a/c and a Starbux across the street less than 20 feet away???...and for $850/mo???
To anyone, that 's going to be a "steal". But then again, and thus proving that the "grass isn't always greener...." the ducks indeed lived up to their reputationg, quacking bastards, not to mention the skunks. Yes, skunks! These black and white (not to be racist) pest were allowed to roam around freely. Residents are exposed to so many of them and on such a regular basis, that the skunks themselves seem to be residents themselves...walking around asking you "if uve paid your rent???"
To escalate that. It's been a month, actually.....today, that my apartment went up in flames there and I have yet to be allowed into the actual apartment to view any of my belongings in attempt to see if there's anything that can possibly be salvaged. After putting in multiple work orders for faulty electrical outlets that were either loose or just never worked in the first place, I was stunned to go on vacation to Vega$ after placing a work order for them only to return and see a "WORK ORDER COMPLETED" sign on my front door. Now anyone w/ common sense realizes that apartments contain several electrical outlets and one would of course have to be home at the time that Maintenance comes by in order to accurately illustrate the nature of the problem itself, and ... it's location. Well, summing this up, these same outlets were responsible for the fire that destroyed all of my belongings, rendering me homeless.
I leave you with this: Thank God for insurance! All of the property managers that were originally in the office upon my becoming a tenant some two years ago, are nowhere to be found. They've either quit or gotten fired, leaving only one property manager behind in the office, and get this: English is her second language....
