I lived in these apartments from Sept. 2001 until Dec. 2004. The management Jane and her assistant Lisa were awesome! The manitenance crew were the friendliest people ever and were on top of any issure and have been employed at this property for years. They knew the tenants by first name and kept a great eye on my apt when i was at work or away on vacation. The property is immaculate, very quiet with almost no children and no young college kids. No crime what so ever. Alot of the tenants are older and have lived in the complex for several years. The thing that originally drew me to the apartments were the spacious floorplans, my one bedroom was 750 sq ft (which is huge for a 1 bd 1ba). I only had one rent increase of $ 40.00. The apartments are nice and clean and management has no problem replacing things like tile and carpet if you have been their for a little while like i was. The only downfall is the parking, its limited, but since i moved out the city took a lane off of Vanguard and turned it into parking spaces which had to have helped immensely. The parking patrol company gave you a warning instead of towing you on first offense. On top of all that when i finally moved out, i got all but $ 30.00 back of my deposit, and 100% of my cat deposit back!! And i got my deposit check back 2 days after i moved out! The property is owned by a private owner and the staff is employed by him instead of a management company. So i think that makes a huge difference. I was never locked into any kind of lease, everyting is month to month. The whole time i was their only one staff member changed. When i moved out i was trying to buy a home and escrow kept falling through and we were having problems with the lender so i kept having to extend my 30 day notice-the staff was so nice and helpful, even after they rented my apartment and i kept having to revoke my 30 day they were totally understanding and worked with me. That kind of cooperation made a negative experience of home buying a million times easier!! I would move back to Pinecreek in a heartbeat...
