From my experience, management is overly friendly and responsive prior to renting or moving into an apartment and thereafter refuses to respond to any problem or issue no matter how pressing.
For example, prior to moving in, management indicated that Southpointe policy is to send maintenance within 24 hours of any maintenance request. I have made 9 or 10 calls to maintenance during my 1 year here, and not one issue I've called about has been resolved. True, maintenance has arrived at my apartment within 24 hours for most calls, but nothing has ever been fixed or resolved.
In addition, the rental rate is reasonable (not low, but reasonable) for the first lease period. Management sometimes even offers discounts for several months to enctice move-ins. However once the first lease is up, the rental rate skyrockets. Management anticipates tenants reluctance to move and tries to milk the inconvenience of changing residence by charging exorbinant rent.
I recommend avoiding Arnel management.
