Review for South Pointe Apartments

I lived here in 1996-97. A friend of mine also lived there. He was the owner of a restaurant nearby and rented because it was more convenient to rent an apartment than travel back and forth to Covina everyday to get home. He had a rat problem while living there. When he complained, first they tried to evict him, then told the health department that the rats were coming in because of his restaurant. They did a surprise inspection of his restaurant. The health department said that you could eat off the floor of his business. A few days later, rat traps began appearing around the complex. The management towed my own vehicle, even after telling me that if we had a parking pass that they would leave the vehicles alone, when I had parked it in the open parking spaces more than 72 hours. They also had it towed to a towing impound yard that was further away than the nearest towing company, a violation of California state law. Please note the heavy sarcasm when I say, "I'm glad to see that nothing's changed."
