Ok, I have lived here for a little more then a year now and have to say the apartment I live in is actually pretty nice. The appliences are a bit older and the rent is a bit high. I realize I am RENTING AN APARTMENT so I won't go on complaining too much about that. The laundry facilities are always clean (overpirced) and working. The mainainance/office staff have always been friendly and quick to respond, but I have to admit I've only needed them a couple of times. The parking policy sucks. They no longer issue guess passes and have some parking patrol called CalPark patrol the area. Twice now when my roommate (female) has been dropped off by her date CalPark follows them in and shines a light on them and questions them about where they are going to park and tells them that she needs to get dropped off outside the gates. I wonder if Arnel would like a lawsuit from some poor girl who gets dropped off and attacked because she had to walk throuh a poorly lit building because of a parking policy. Thank god we finally got rid of Skylink Cable. As far as trash/water, the comany they use Pacific Water and Power. They have crappy customer service hours and are impossible to get a hold of. We now can get TimeWarner. Bottom line is this company changes policy at the drop of a hat. I know they can be pretty nasty at times too. I recall seing a note posted at the pool threatening to have anyone in the pool area after 10 arrested and evicted. They need to realize that we are not just tennants but WE ARE THEIR CUSTOMERS as well. I have lived in many rental properties and this by far is the worst.
