The parking situation at Sunset Cove is the WORST of any place I've ever lived in my life. It is actually harder to get a spot here than it is in Brooklyn, New York City.
The apartment ads and staff were misleading about parking. They never mentioned you cannot have any space on the property aside from your garage if you rent a one bedroom apartment. They said I would get a sticker and a space, yet after all this year... there's no space to be had.
This isn't the 60's or something. Every American family has two cars now, even (gasp!) those who live in one bedroom apartments.
Sometimes I spend as long as 15-20 minutes trying to park my car.
Now the college kids I should've realized, because the apartment is across the street from Orange Coast College. It's a perfect location for students. The rest of us just have to listen to it.
I've seen baseball played in the small walkway area in the courtyard, basketballs bouncing down the balconies (waking us up at weird hours) Parties that rage on into the wee hours of the morning (no matter how much you complain)
The stereos blast whatever at any time with heavy bass. The kids who drive their cars through the parking lot speed (quite dangerously) and blast their bass at all hours. I've almost been hit once by someone racing down the lot. I learned to look both ways twice before stepping out there.
The walls are paper thin and do not stop any noise from apartment to aprtment. Sometimes I could overhear entire phone conversations while just trying to watch TV. Alarm clocks from other apartments woke us up many, many times. Whatever insulation there was in the building, its gone by now.
