I wanted a 2 bedroom 2 bath apartments with washer & dryer in the unit, 2 car garage with remote closing door or park in the building unit, and of course all the amenities would be lovely. Location and Safety was one of my concern too. The Lakes has everything, but the only bad things is that people who works in the managements office are either useless worker, don't care for residents that live at the lakes, always saying "I'M SORRY" and do nothing. As for higher stuff that works at the leasing office like property manager, resident services manager, and assistant manager are quite as useless as others under them and is not willing to do anything. Example 1: Resident Services Manager promise to call me within 2 days to give me my answer and it takes him after 3 weeks to call. And why is that, because I complain. Example 2: Property manager always like to talk by rules and go his own way, he doesn't care about residents here, very disrespectful when talking to me. Both can't seem to look into my eyes when talking to me. Weird. Last, assistant manager, good to work by the book, but seems to me that she is like a machine. I sometimes wonder if it is my English not good enough to stand in front of them talking, or is it that I really don't have any idea how American Culture works.
Anyway, I feel like a moron renewing my lease for the second year. But I am not gonna just walk away and throw my family money to people who treat me like trash. I am going to stay and live until my lease end date, and try to learn as much as possible about why am I been treated so disrespectfully, and learn American Culture ways of doing business.
