Apartment Reviews for The Vineyard At Valley View
Don't live here!! Read my experience.....

I lived here for 1.5 years and had an awful experience. A lady with three kids moved in above me and the noise was unbearable -- thumping, running, crashing noises, yelling/screaming, etc. You could hear everything -- so bad that you couldn't even read a book in peace. I complained to mgt, but they didn't do anything about it. They told me to call Security when the noise was bad, and I did that, but was told to stop b/c my neighbors felt that they were being harassed. I even met with the mgr (who just said that she couldn't do anything more), and then when my lease was up for renewal, they refused to renew it because I was "obviously unhappy there"! Like it's the mgr's right to determine my level of happiness. So, I had to pay increased month-to-month rent until I was ready to move. I was a good tenant (quiet, paid my rent on time, etc -- no reason to not renew my lease). She wanted the problem to go away, and to her, the problem was me, not the people actually causing the noise. I was happy to leave a place like that.
Also, the walls are VERY thin and you can hear everything. I can hear water moving down my walls each time my neighbors flush the toilet. The appliances and cabinetry is all cheap. They have these awful tiny spouts on the showers too, which you'll need to replace with your own. My front door and front porch area was always covered in cobwebs, and sometimes the building was egged by the punk kids that live in the low-income apts next door who roam through the complex.
Lastly, maintenance is terrible-- it takes forever for them to fix something. Often times your request would be lost or never entered and after waiting a week, I'd have to call back and re-enter it. No excuse for that.
I've lived in several apt complexes over the years and have NEVER had an experience like this. I've never dealt with a manager who doesn't try to help you out-- I'm disappointed that they made such a wrong decision & don't even care about doing the right thing. They blow you off and all they care about is whether places are rented, not about whether the people who live there are happy. They don't enforce the rules of quiet either, which isn't fair to anyone.
The place might look nice from the outside, but as another reviewer put it, it's really just a bunch of rotten fruit in a gift bag. Take it from me, don't move here!!! You'll be disappointed.
