Review Title:   Eagles Point? More Likes Eagles Dump
Reviewer:   Lexmascman@Aol.Com

Where do I start? Is there anything I liked about the place? No. Maybe because I wasn't a criminal.

1. Let's start with security. There are no patrols of the place. Wait, yes there is. That is when the police are called every night for new crime activity. From fights to theft, it goes on at least nightly at Eagle's Point. You're lucky if you don't see the police there at least once a night.

2. Parking is limited to 1 spot per apartment. Parking is terrible at times, especially if you have more than 1 car. I will admit, many people (including myself) are/have moved out and parking is becoming more abundant. But regardless, the parking is sub-par. Also, the car ports are the smallest I've ever seen. I drive a mid-size SUV and I'm always squeezing to get out my door. Unless you drive a sub-compact or have an spot at the end of the car port, you'll find yourself squeezing in a spot.

3. The upkeep is... raking dirt. That's what I see the landscapers doing. Literally, they rake the dirt. There is nothing beautiful about being surrounded by dirt and mud. If you're lucky, you'll have a few plants scattered around. Or could it be algae? Also, if you like graffiti on your sidewalks, building, or fencing, then you'll love it here.

4. The management is unprofessional. They lost all of our paperwork, maintenance requests, and proof that we even lived there. As we left after our 6 month lease, that's when we found out that they lost our record of living in our apartment, as well as our lease contract. Nice huh?

5. Maintenance is non-existant. Well, to a degree. I see them drive around on golf carts all day, yet they couldn't make it to repair our apartment since day one. In 6 months, we put in 8 different maintenance requests for repairs. Now these repairs were needed since day 1 of our move in. As we moved in, we had broken blinds, leaking sink, and a broken door lock. Never once did maintenance come out and I ended up doing my own repairs.

6. Our unit was terrible upon move in. Old and worn carpet, the paint was chipping and peeling, broken blinds and window screens, the kitchen floor was extremely gouged, the counter-tops looked like 10 year old cutting boards, and the walls had dents and chips. Also the appliances are probably 30 years old. They still work, but they're inefficient, brittle, and just look like they need to go! Also the walkways to the apartments are very narrow and small. It makes moving in and out difficult. It's even worse when people have shopping carts all over the place. No joke, I'm willing to bet if you walk the complex, you'll find at least 100 shopping carts at people's door and walkway. I made the mistake of moving there, but it definitely was a learning experience.

7. Very noisey complex at sunset. Many troublesome kids running around, loud stereos, and constant yelling and fighting. During the day time it's not too bad, but night time is terrible, especially when the complex doesn't have the lights turn on until 9PM. Not to mention, the kids love to pull the fire alarms at night or early (2AM) mornings to awake the entire building.

8. I had a terrible experience here. I know many have. I've had trash dumped on my porch, my "Welcome" door mat stolen on my moving day, and many many more bad experiences. I know a new management has taken over, but they haven't done anything better other than throw some new paint on a few walls. This complex was a disappointment for me and anyone else that isn't a drug dealer, criminal, or illegal immigrant. I wouldn't recommend anyone to live here unless you want the "thrill" to live in high-crime, pot-smelling, low-life complex.
