Review for Harbor Cove Apartments

The price of this apartment is attractive at a first glance, but there are many hidden costs. Monthly sew and gabage cost adds $60 to your bill. You should not count your deposit to come back. There is no reminder for you to pay rent, no automatic payment system and late fee will never be waived. If you accidently leave your gabage outside of your door, you will be charged $30 per bag. Although there are not enough workers to repair stuff in your units, there are people watching very carefully in your misbehavior and try to take profit, or just pure pleasure, from punishing you - the residents.

Talking about things to repair: Before we moved into this apartment, we never know how many things could go wrong in an apartment unit. The windows, the water falcet, the light bulb, the refregirator, ... We've been living here for 7 months. There is almost no single day that we do not have a working order put in the office. Last year, we sometimes wait for one month to get one thing fixed. But recently, they changed managing company (same residential managers, though), and started moving quickly, which means, they removed your bicycles and destoyed your bicycle locks one second after they put a notice on your door saying you should not put bikes near the stairs. (Are there any places you could safely lock your bikes outside? - Not to our knowledge.) However, our frigi has went out of order, they came to check and check again, till everyting inside it has wore out, to make sure it's not our problem, but just because the frigi has been too old. Any apologize? Never.

We gave up and don't put any working order and eagerly wait for the day to move out. If you want to take the rest of our lease, be prepared to tolerate, admit everything is your fault, and then tolerate the blame to you from managers here. Believe, everything will be your fault. After all, it was you who did not want to pay a few bucks more to get a better place to live. (I guess this is also Habor Cove managers' phylosophy, because residents here are treated like refugees.)
