I have lived here just shy of two years. I though for sure this would be the last place I was prior to buying a home. WRONG!!!
The property is nice...a little worn down, but for the price it is nice and the apartments are spacey. HOWEVER, the water is HARD, and the fixtures and cabinets are old. But once again, for the price it is livable and if fixed up nicely can be a nice home. The neighbors are friendly and polite, kids are NOT rude, and the place is clean.
HOWEVER.....THE MANAGEMENT TEAM IS HORRIBLE!!!! They have changed managers twice since I have been here....the office staff has a constent turnover....and NONE OF THEM HAVE ANY CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS, NOR CAN THEY THINK FOR THEMSELVES!!! ROBOTS - ALL OF THEM!!!
My issues that made me write this review:
1. - LAUNDRY - Cards always breaking or money machines to refill not working - OFFICE WON'T HELP AND TELLS YOU TO GO TO LAUNDROMAT AND WILL NOT REFUND.
2. - MAINTENANCE - this is outsourced and usually pretty quick to respond and does great service. HOWEVER, once my oven stuck on broil and I could not turn it off. It was 7pm at night and it took 3 HOURS!!! to get someone to come help. I finally called the gas company too.
3. PARKING ISSUES - FINAL STRAW (I WILL MOVE) We received notices on our doors that they were issuing new parking passes to residents to help alleviate all the parking issues. This would take place over three weeks...and THEN they would begin towing vehicles without proper permits. We were to take in the "old" passess and get "new" ones. WHILE I WAS GETTING MY NEW ONES THEY TOWED MY CAR ANYWAY. WHEN I ASKED MGMT TO RELEASE IT BECAUSE IT WAS AN ERROR. THEY SAID NO.
THEN TO TOP IT OFF - LAST WEEKEND....THEY TOWED MY CAR AGAIN WHILE I FLASHED THE LIGHTS IN FRONT OF MY PLACE TO LOAD LUGGAGE!!!! MGMNT STILL WOULD NOT RELEASE MY CAR. YET MOVING TRUCKS AND OTHERS CONSTANTLY "FLASH" THERE LIGHTS AND LOAD AND UNLOAD AND THEN MOVE THEIR CARS. THIS COST ME A TOTAL OF $280
THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU LIVE HERE.
