We had lived in building C on the third floor for 5 years when my wife came home from work one day to find our apartment had been broken in to. Somebody had taken a breaker bar, and forced open the door. They ran back into our bedroom, and stolen a couple of rings from the bedside stand.
Oddly, our apartment was right above an assistant manager called Shane. Also, an mexican landscaper lived across the way. Nobody heard anything, nobody saw anything.
Even more strangely, some time ago a ground-level garage right below us got broken into, and the owner lost $7,000 in tools. Nobody heard anything, and nobody saw anything.
When I was living here, there were a few strange kids walking around after dark, but the gates are locked, so there's not too much access here....which begs the question of an inside job.
Plus...another wierd thing...is that there was an overpowering strange smell around building C....like somebody dumped a ton of air fresher in the air...only problem is that the smell was there 24hrs a day...7 a week...made me wonder if shane was trying to hide a crop of weed.
Who know...just look out for the subtle crime...
Also, look out for the scummy Indian people who are non-residents who use the pool and shit in the pool because they don't have access to the key card bathrooms. Fuck you indian non-residents...shit in your own water.
