Review for Casa Del Sol Apartments

My wife and I just went by Casa Del Sol to determine if we should move there next month. - Even after reading the reviews about it.

The first thing that we noticed was that the security gates were both broken in the open position. When we asked the nice young manager about it, we were actually told, "Oh, they are not broken. They are just brand new and they are having the gliches worked out of them." Strike One.

The manager claimed that they have a security guard who roams the area at night and that our vehicles would be perfectly safe. I promptly pointed out 2 obviously stored vechicles (they had tons of dust/dirt on them and advertisement flyers) and asked if there were any parking problems as it was obvious that they allowed the storage of vehicles on the premises. The manager denied that vehicles were allowed to be stored on the premises and sayed, "Those vehicles were just parked there yesterday." At which point I showed a puddle of oil under one of them and said that the security guard was not doing such a good job if they allowed advertisements to be placed on the windshields of the STORED vehicles. Strike TWO.

As we were walking to see the demo apartment, my wife asked a resident that we passed if she ever had any problems finding parking. The nice resident hesitated for a moment and said, "Well to tell you the truth, I am forced to drive around for just a few minutes waiting for someone to leave. But I only have to drive around for 10 minutes, nothing more." Strike THREE.

My wife and I immediately turned to the nice manager and declined to go any farther to check out the rental unit. It is obvioius that there are parking problems and that the management wishes to lie to cover it up.
