Review for Regency Palms Apartments

I am not one to flame anybody without good reason ,

However, this is seriously the last straw for me. I have lived with my mother for over 15 years in this place. I am currently and art student working full time to help take care of my mother.I have seen the management change at least 3 times. This however, are by far the most incompetent. Maintained is a joke. They are seriously the most unqualified people. I won't go into details of useless they are because this would turn into a novel. I am not trying to be disrespectful , but try understand my frustration with this place.

The first time our car was broken into they stole a bunch of equipment from my mother who runs her own janitorial services. When they stole the keys to buildings we clean we lost almost half of the work and we have been struggling for the past 4 years trying to get it back, all because our clients thought we were giving out the keys to buildings for personal gain. The management here did nothing . They gave us a broom and dustpan and told us we can clean up the broken glass window ourselves.

The Second time it happened . We asked our car to be moved to a better parking space and they did nothing , they didn't even offer to pay for the damages that we had to pay ourselves. At the time we had no money to pay for a car alarm so we tried our best take out all the of personal belongings and be as alert as possible.

The 3rd time was 2 weeks ago from this day ( April 10 , 2009 ) . They stole a 900$ buffer along other equipment. All of the equipment is very heavy , the fact that no one saw any of this happen is a ridiculous. They claim to have security but its just one guy , who is probably in on it as well. Again my management did nothing.

The 4th time is today as I am writing this . I wondered if I am the only in this situation but apparently I am not. I walked into their office this morning and they made me wait an hour to speak to someone. Only to tell me I had call the Regional Manager if I wanted something to be done about it . They had nerve to tell me that We should bring in all of our equipment each night . Which would take about a half hour each time plus our apartment is too small to fit it all . I shouldn't have to in the first place if they just did their job. I shouldn't have to wake up at 2:00am each night to check my car. They won't get security cameras and they won't hire more security.

We have spent so much money repairing our car from damages. We pay our rent on time and we are good honest people who do not deserve any of this. You would think being a loyal resident for 15 years would mean something to them but it doesn't. On top of that I have to fork out about 500$ for a car alarm. Money I don't have.

So you can defend this place if you want. Tell me I need the call the police, or whatever lame solution you come up with in the first 10 seconds and then act like your solution is genius and has never been heard of. I have tried to work with them but they do not do anything. This my experience since I have been here. If you have had a similar experience please respond . Because until I can get enough people to really complain things will not change
