Apartment Reviews for Regents La Jolla

My advice to others who are looking to rent here would be don't do it. It looks nice from the outside, but once you live there you notice many of the short comings of this apartment complex. For starters, they are more concenred about sales than the existing residence. On the weekends you will see the sales staff give dozens of tours around the gym and pool areas and any relaxation you are trying to obtain will be constantly interrupted. Also, sales staff are very snobby and unwiling to assist current residents. Seondly, my advice to anyone thinking of moving in would be to ask to see the parking space that comes with the apartment. There are many really awkward parking spaces and the number of cars with scratches/dents attests to the difficulty in navigating them.Thirdly, it is very difficult to receive packages. When I went to the leasing office to pick up my last package, the lady giggeled, then said, "oh yeah, I signed for it, but forgot to take it". After some more giggeling, she told me to keep coming down and checking to see if it showed up, which means that I'd have to take time off from work since the leasing office closes at 6.

Overall, I think you can find better places for the amount of money you're thinking of spending. I would not recommend living here. Please feel free to email me, if you have any questions about this place.
